Mobilee Records is thrilled to announce the return of Beck To Pony after her debut release "Frei" with their latest Indie Dance hit, "Berlin," set to release on October 11th. The dynamic duo, comprised of Ulrike Beck and Katja Ponesky, is back with a love letter to the city that has shaped their lives and music.

"Berlin" marks their first song produced in collaboration with Henrik ‘Henne’ Müller at Riverside Studios. The track was born out of a magical studio session on Katja’s birthday, where she and Ulrike effortlessly found their creative flow, producing all night into the early hours of the morning. Joining them was Emil, their singer, who happened to drop by the studio. Instantly clicking with Katja and Ulrike, Emil, a newcomer to the city, was the perfect voice to convey the vibrant emotions tied to Berlin – its excitement, its challenges, and its endless fascination.

For Beck, a longtime resident of the capital, and Pony, a native Berliner, the song encapsulates their enduring love affair with the city. Despite living in Berlin for decades, both artists remain captivated by its ever-evolving energy. "Berlin" reflects the feeling of longing one experiences when away, and the deep connection that always pulls you back to its streets and scenes.

Beck To Pony's sound fuses neon-soaked nu-disco with soulful synth-pop influences, a blend reminiscent of Röyksopp and Goldfrapp, capturing the pulse of modern-day Berlin. The track promises to be a powerful anthem for the city’s lovers and dreamers alike.

Beck To Pony’s journey began on opposite sides of Germany’s cultural divide. While Beck danced to Biggie and Pac alongside U.S. soldiers in Stuttgart, Pony was immersed in Berlin's burgeoning techno scene. Their shared passion for music eventually brought them together, culminating in their decision to co-produce and create their unique sound. After over 20 years of DJing and curating, they released their debut single under Beck To Pony in July 2024, and now continue their creative evolution with "Berlin."
