Bay Area producer Home By Dawn is a shining talent rallying behind the next generation of progressive house, revamping sounds from the EDM boom with elements of bass house, melodic bass, and trap. He debuts on Insomniac's Discovery Project label with his new single, featuring the vocal talents of LA-based singer-songwriter, Gabriel Eli.

"Sober" is a modern progressive house song treating love like a compulsive fixation that's impossible to kick. Eli's silky topline draws upon vivid analogies as he slips further into the highs of romance, while chiming synth tones and ascending chord progressions erupt into a blissful prog drop laced with lush, pitch-bending future bass leads. The track was the winning submission for the Discovery Project DJ / producer competition, chosen by guest judge Gryffin as part of the Project GLOW edition. It earned him a slot at this year's festival and this release on the label. Home By Dawn also won the grand prize for Dabin's 'Stay In Bloom' community DJ contest, securing a spot on the festival lineup. He was also recently tapped for a remix of William Black and Rosie Darling's "Can't Be Alone (Without You)" collab, featured on the former's 'The Shadow Realm (Remixes)' album via Lost In Dreams. His music has seen support from Audien, TELYKAST, Johnny Chay.
