Baccus - Set Me Free
** Radio Embargo Until July 18th / Club Play Only **
Believe it or not… The best party that I’ve ever attended was in Paris. I was 21 at the time & traveling with my best friend (who actually was the one who made the call to venture to the city of love because… well why not?)
We had no plan, no timeline & no money… which is sometimes how the best things happen right? Almost like a happy accident in the stuuuudio.
So it was our first night in Paris & we were surfing on RA to find a fun event to go out to. I came across an event nearby who had booked Bellaire as the headliner. If you haven't heard his record ‘Paris City Jazz’... go do yourself a favour and give it a blast, then come back to me and try to tell me you wouldn’t go?!?!?!?!
Anyway, to keep things kinda brief… the event ended up being in an abandoned museum and everyone had to pick a wig to wear at the entrance. My friend and I were the only Aussies there and we had the absolute tiiiime of our lives…. We danced all night & even managed to catch the sunrise in front of the Eiffel Tower… ha ha oops.
Which brings me to Baccus… who is also a French DJ, producer and singer, passionate about house music with sounds mixing French touch, funk and minimal (sounds fkn fun right). The founder of Groovytude Records has collaborated with some of the top names in duh gaaaame including Oden & Fatzo, Folamour & Black Loops, as well as releases on Prunk’s PIV records, Glasgow Underground & Belief.
We’re pumped to welcome him to the Sweat It Out family with his brand new single ‘SET ME FREE’!!!!
Now we just gotta find an abandoned museum & a few hundred wigs to throw an epic party for him…
And we down w dat!!!
Much love
