Freestylers & Greenflamez – Feels Real [Speaker Freaker Records]

Freestylers and Greenflamez release their new single "Feels Real" a proper breakbeat collab arriving via Insomniac's recently launched Speaker Freaker Records.

Hailing from London, Freestylers is a powerhouse production pair from the UK that has remained a prolific force within the realm of bass music, with six studio albums underneath their belt stretching back to the '90s, which has seen them navigate through breakbeat, trip hop, electro, big beat and all manner of bass music. Based out of Sevilla, Greenflamez is a Spanish producer that has ignited a new generation of breakbeats with a style fueled by electro and old-school hardcore. The two forces are linking up for their new single on Insomniac's recently minted Speaker Freaker label.

"Feels Real" is a hefty slab of modern breaks, with a dreamy vocal hook depicting the sensation when the lines start to blur between fantasy and reality. Choppy percussive syncopation serves as the spine of this rhythmic beast, which clobbers its way through dark rave stabs and countermelody synth riffs accented by rising retro keyboard leads and a glorious organ-laced breakdown.
