JØRD - Kids On The Block

Growing up, myself & the kids on my block would gather at the corner lot with one thing in common - music. Some brought old boomboxes, others their phones and speakers, but it didn’t matter what played. Hip-hop, pop, classic rock, or homemade beats - If it had rhythm, we were down for a jam!

My mate Lenny drummed on overturned buckets, Matty rapped verses he wrote in his notebook, and Sofia danced like nobody was watching (even though the whole neighbourhood usually was). Even quiet little Ben brought his dad’s guitar and strummed shyly along.
We didn’t really care if we were no good… we just loved creating something that turned sidewalks into stages and mailboxes into microphones.

Which brings me to Brazilian powerhouse producer / DJ JØRD…. ​​JØRD has received the tick of approval from some of the biggest names in the scene; Alok, KVSH, Cat Dealers, Felguk and Chemical Surf. Also embraced by Vintage Culture and having him as one of his main influences, JØRD has performed at Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza Brasil, in addition to several clubs and representative events such as Xxxperience, Só Track Boa, Laroc & Green Valley.
