Back with new takes on iconic catalog entries, EGR unveils the coveted Paradise Lost Remixes, featuring enthralling reinterpretations of Freedo Mosho's bonafide classic by Mike Griego, Maze 28, and Mosho himself in tandem with Futura City.
As we dive off the shallow end, the EP offers us the first remix, courtesy of EGR's Freedo Mosho & the mysterious Futura City, who deconstruct the frame, breaking it apart as synthetic mantles ebb and flow over scrumptious low-end pulses that thrust us into a heady voyage.
Coming in hot, the inimitable Mike Griego turns down the lights for an interstellar take where dubbed-out bass stabs set the mood for iridescent lingering wails and tantalizing aqueous effects before unleashing a most sensual drop brimming with groove and finesse.
Last up, it's Maze 28's reform, which conceives Paradise Lost as a modern club growler for the late night hours. Denser than its predecessors, our final remix drives us deeper underground through eerie moments and rousing arrangements for one wild ride.
