Liverpool-based DJ and producer Jimmy Allen has become a trusted name in house music, with a sound rooted in deep, soulful and US-inspired club culture. A long-standing presence in the Liverpool scene, he has held respected residencies, played at events including Southport Weekender and Suncebeat, appeared on Mi-Soul Radio, and released music through labels including Origins, Hustler Trax, Mau Mau, Big Love Trax and Circus Recordings.

For his Do It Anyway Records debut, One2 brings Jimmy's dancefloor instincts into sharp focus with a rolling disco-house groove, tight drums, warm bass and hooky vocal energy. Jaegerossa, aka Phil Rose, turns in a funked-up remix that leans deeper into live musicianship, with Robin Lee of Faze Action adding bass, keys and guitar to bring extra shades of funk and disco to the package.
