Seeb Feat. Neev - Breathe (The Remixes)

Following on from the global success of debut single ‘Breathe’ feat. Neev, Norwegian production masterminds Seeb release their 7 record-tight remix package to accompany the single, available to buy from today via Universal Music.

With the original single premiering on global tastemaker Pete Tongs’ BBC Radio 1 show, it has since gone on to amass over 42 million streams on Spotify alone, as well as storming the Spotify Top 100 & hitting #5 in the UK viral chart.

Their remix of Mike Posner’s global smash hit ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ plays a key part in their rising success; having already amassed a monumental 452 million Spotify streams alone, with a Top 3 in the global Spotify charts, landing the duo a #1 position in the UK charts for four consecutive weeks and reaching #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Breaking through all barriers of music, ‘Breathe’ showcases talent that is not only raw yet fully immersive – and with that said, each remix mirrors exactly this. Leading with the Nora En Pure Remix, the South African DJ & producer transforms ‘Breathe’ into an underground club mover, laced with piano chords and a thumping bass-line.

The Purple Disco Machine remix is a nod to the German born masterminds’ signature deep-funk roots, proof that ‘Breathe’ has vast interchangeable production qualities. Next up is Stockholm based duo Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman’s take on the original, which takes ‘Breathe’ on a transcendent journey from start to finish – not forgetting live electro-duo SMLE’s rework and multilayered soundscape.

Anastasis & Josefin Rosén have taken the reigns on their version of ‘Breathe’, lending the track scattered percussive elements & a deeper, darker undertone. English newcomer Hanami in turn slows the pace of the original record down, paving way to a whole new depth of capabilities with his emotive rework. Rounding off the 7-track remix EP is a high energy retake from Albin Myers, proof again that such a track can break through yet a further set of barriers.
