Bizarre Billy - Insomnia

Berlin-based producer Bizarre Billy makes his debut on MB Disco with a daring and stylish reinterpretation of Faithless’ legendary anthem Insomnia. Known for fusing disco elegance with a raw electronic pulse, Billy has long explored the space where nostalgia meets the future.

“Reworking such a sacred track takes courage,” Billy says. “But I always felt that iconic riff deserved a cleaner, more powerful sound — something that truly cuts through on today’s systems.”

Driven by shimmering Italo synths, crisp production, and a deep respect for the original’s legacy, his version injects new life into a timeless club classic. The result is cool, sophisticated, and tailor-made for discerning selectors from Berlin to Ibiza.
