The Coney Island Rhythm Band - Let's Be Together
"Reworking a rework, of a rework, of a sample … Yes, it’s a long way from the original with The Coney Island Rhythm Band now adding a fresh African vocal, new house production and retaining THAT steel drum hook on their new take now titled “Let’s Be Together”. Quality house music here… Nice work, or should we say “re-work”.
Then remixing the rework of the rework, we can check “Ben’s AM Extended Remix”. This slightly more tech house driven mix has a longer intro that builds the tension before teasing at the steel drum hook and dropping the new afro vocal. A funky break beat & piano’s land in the drop before the groove kicks back in.
Lets go!!!"

Vicious was born in 1992 and has stood strong and steady as the dance music industry has gone from a vinyl led underground movement to a global, digitally distributed and streamed phenomenon. In that time there have literally been hundreds of releases on the labels, the original imprint founded in a back yard shed out of a passion for the music…
That passion which is still vibrant if you talk to co-founders John Course and Andy Van, or any of the people that help make the label tick.
You simply don't make it through the turbulent times of the music industry without your heart being in it…
Some of the most notable artists who began their careers at Vicious include Avicii, Dirty South, Peking Duk, multiple ARIA and IDMA winning group Madison Avenue and Sgt Slick
