HURTBOX – JUMP ft. E the profit [Bassrush Records]

HURTBOX bottles up the chaos from a mosh-pit with his new single "JUMP," a riddim banger backed by Kentucky grown rapper E the profit, arriving via Bassrush Records.

Hailing from the South of France, HURTBOX is a bass producer who originally burst out onto the dubstep scene as part of the duo STRANGER TWINS with his identical brother HOL!, and has been consistently bringing the pain in the riddim department since splintering off with his solo career. He's returning to Bassrush Records to issue his first official single with the label, joined by Kentucky-grown hip-hop artist, E the Profit.

"JUMP" is a nasty chunk of riddim that strives to replicate the spirit of being slung into the chaos of a circle pit. E the profit soundtracks key moments within the piece, with his hypnotizing autotuned hooks blending with dark, atmospheric polysynth hip-hop beats in-between the moshpit mayhem. Sledgehammer synth hits, glitchy vox cues, and machine-gun bursts of drilling leads that seem to never let up, only to let the Midwest rap portions do their thing. HURTBOX previously appeared on the label with his remix of "Crazy" by ATLiens, as part of the 'Space Cathedral (Remixes)' package in 2023.
