Raw city soul straight out of the Deuce era. I’ve Been Down channels the grit and atmosphere of late-night streets, built on deep rhythm and stripped-back attitude.
The production tips its hat to the early days of dub, when versions were crafted the hard way — razor blades, tape edits and analogue instinct.
Also featured is the Gibbo Powdered Dub, a version cut in the spirit of those classic studio experiments where space, echo and groove do the talking.
