Following their contribution to our ‘Florilegia’ series, Thessaloniki-based duo Momery returns to the chambers of ICONYC with their first, fully-fledged EP, ‘Still I Love You’. Comprised of three blistering cuts, Charis Giachanos & George Papadopoulos’ new record offers a chromed, holographic picture brimming with an irrepressible sense of the modern underground at every turn.

Wasting no bar, our latest entry makes the most out of its design by kicking off with the explosive ‘Still Love You’. Running rampant, Momery take it away with a brash bassline that thrashes across reverberating embers and enthralling vocal swells for a mesmerizing juxtaposition of forces. Leading down to a spacious break, ‘Still Love You’ `presents us with an uplifting 80s-laced trance lead that pulls at our souls before it all comes crashing down spectacularly for one last rapturous celebration.

The energetic parade continues with ‘Lose My Mind’, where the Greek duo course through a similar vein, stacking a throbbing low end to create a rocking frame that ups the ante with its sharp, skitterish hi-hats that cut through the mix with consummate ease. Meanwhile, meandering effervescent bursts glide across the piece before irresistible echoing vocal flourishes take control. Big, bold, and colorful as they come, ‘Lose My Mind’ is the fix that scratches that late-night itch with its unmistakable club flair.

Our last offering, ‘Wanna Know’, wraps up Momery’s ‘Still I Love You’ in truly ICONYC fashion as the pair deploy thumping kicks and a pulsating jet-back bassline, terraforming the bedrock for an all-out assault on the senses.
