Aangø - STRATA

Featuring at Beatport Top 2 Progressive House releases, Top 3 Melodic House & Techno Releases

STRATA was built around the idea of moving through different layers of a landscape, with each track representing a different stage of the same journey.
It begins with Above The Clouds, surrounded by mist and slowly rising above it. Horizon Line follows as the landscape opens up and the horizon finally appears in the distance. The journey ends with First Light, when the first light emerges from beyond that horizon.
The title STRATA reflects those different layers — of clouds, landscape, light and atmosphere — gradually revealing themselves throughout the EP.
Rather than three completely separate tracks, STRATA was imagined as one continuous progression: from the mist, to the horizon, and finally into the light.
