Psychederek - The Right Side of the Ocean

Not a NuNorthern Soul release, but a record we're very happy to get behind.

Manchester producer Psychederek returns with The Right Side Of The Ocean, the fourth release on his own Via Jupiter label.

Five tracks drifting between Balearic pop, new age, baggy grooves and loose-limbed disco. Sun-drenched guitars, hazy synths and percussion from Danny Ward run throughout, with contributions from Stan Lewis and Lois Holmes.

From the laid-back guitar grooves of 'Saint Joan' and the Happy Mondays-flavoured 'Aire Salado' through to the deeper disco territory of 'Central Drive', this is a lovely little journey that feels right at home in our world.

Beautiful handmade artwork by Alex Giles rounds things off.

As a little thank you to the NuNorthern Soul community, there's 10% off the vinyl using discount code NNS at checkout.
