Tomaz & Filterheadz - Sunshine (Jonathan Ulysses & Matt Moore Remix)

Matt Moore, owner and resident DJ at the famous Matt’s Bar in Albufeira, Portugal, is on fire right now.

Having already released “Drop and Play” on Ulybug Music, Matt is no stranger to the dance music scene. His productions have also landed on respected labels including Phonetic, Simma Black, Our House, Plastic Galaxy, and Subtractive Recordings.

Joining forces once again is Jonathan Ulysses, renowned for his legendary 17-year residency at Space Ibiza and CEO of Ulybug Music. Jonathan has built an impressive catalogue of releases on some of the industry’s most respected labels, including Toolroom, Azuli, Nervous, and Hot Gorilla.

Matt recently delivered his acclaimed rework of Faithless’ iconic “Insomnia”, receiving support from DJs around the world. He then teamed up with Jonathan Ulysses to reimagine the ’90s classic “Last Rhythm”, a release that gained international support from Chris Lake, Nic Fanciulli, Gok Wan, K-Klass, Jamie Jones, Shiba San, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Alex P, Slipmatt, and airplay across Gaydio, Centreforce, and Shine 879.

Following the success of “Last Rhythm”, Matt and Jonathan return with another fresh take on a timeless ’90s dance anthem that has long deserved a modern update.

This time, they turn their attention to Tomaz & Filterheadz’s classic “Sunshine”.

Their re-rub stays true to the spirit of the original, retaining its driving drums, rolling bassline, signature stabs, and infectious groove while delivering a punchier, modern production built for today’s dance floors. Wrapped around the unforgettable chords and keys that made “Sunshine” a classic, the remix captures the energy of the original while giving it a powerful new lease of life.

Back in the late ‘90s, the original became a staple in Carl Cox’s legendary Revolution nights at Space Ibiza. This new version pays tribute to that unforgettable era, bringing a touch of Ibiza nostalgia together with a contemporary club sound designed for today’s audiences.
