Sagia’s Drive 909 marks the first release on FLIGHT MODE, which is less the launch of a label than the natural evolution of an idea that has been growing for years. Beginning as a monthly radio show before expanding into curated live events, FLIGHT MODE has always been driven by one simple belief: it’s the music that matters. The two-track EP sees Sagia continue after the success and industry support of her Storyteller EP on Desert Hearts Black, inspired by the feeling of escape and the being on the road. Across its two tracks - Drive 909 and Magnetic, the EP perfectly captures long drives along the deserted roads and the sense of freedom that comes from leaving everyday life behind.
