John Acquaviva, Olivier Giacomotto, Dan Diamond – Let It Go (Dompe Remix)

Definitive Recordings is proud to announce a brand-new remix of the house classic ‘Let It Go’ by John Acquaviva, Olivier Giacomotto, and Dan Diamond, this time reimagined by Berlin-based house maestro Dompe. Known for his high-energy productions and unique blend of rhythm and groove, Dompe brings a fresh, peak-time twist to the iconic track.

Over a decade after its original release, ‘Let It Go’ remains one of the genre’s defining moments, marked by Dan Diamond’s unmistakable spoken word vocals and an irresistibly smooth groove. In his remix, Dompe injects new life into the track, turning it into a classic house smasher built on heavy, driving drums and a soulful, jazzy chord progression. His interpretation stays true to the spirit of the original while raising the temperature for today’s hottest house parties.

Dompe, aka Dominic Wagner, is a tireless force in the house music scene. A Berlin transplant from Cologne, he has released a steady stream of standout records that have topped charts and filled clubs across the globe. Known for pairing bold basslines with inventive sound design, Dompe is also the founder of Jackfruit Recordings, his personal playground for creativity. His past albums ‘Hippie Crack’ and ‘French Collection’ gained widespread acclaim and confirmed his status as one of the most consistently exciting producers in house music today.

With this remix, Dompe adds another gem to the ‘Let It Go’ legacy, ensuring its place at the center of the dancefloor for years to come.

"Not too hard, not too soft" was the mantra and it built up a fine body of talented artists who made a real impact on the global underground and helped to foment a unique identity for Definitive Recordings. After acquiring the catalogue of legendary Canadian house label, Get Physical Music is proud to present a new various artists series that focuses on some of its most classic cuts. John Acquaviva will continue to A&R for the label and work closely alongside the Get Physical team in this new era.
