REMNANT.exe – I’ll Be Waiting [BREAK ROOM Records]

REMNANT.exe returns to Insomniac's BREAK ROOM label to issue his follow-up single "I’ll Be Waiting," an enthralling slice of future garage.

Albuquerque-based producer REMNANT.exe is a multi-instrumentalist and producer serving as a conduit for futuristic beats. Fascinated by the connection between the physical, metaphysical, and cyber realms, the genre-defying audiovisual phenom pushes the limits of trap, hardwave, drum & bass, house, breakbeat, dubstep, UK garage, and beyond. He returns to Insomniac's BREAK ROOM Records to release his new single, marking his third appearance on the label since last year.

"I'll Be Waiting" is a UKG-fueled track leaning into his future garage style. Constructed around an arresting vocal refrain, its buttery hook repeats the track title with a palpable yearning. Shuffling rhythms and deep, futuristic bleeping sequences are accented by crisp hi-hats, reverberating retro basslines, dizzying atmospherics, fluid vocal chops, and gritty portamento counterlicks. REMNANT.exe previously touched down on the label with his "Infrared" collab with Hex Cougar, featured on the latter's 'Visions' EP, and the follow-up "REQUIEM" alongside KTrek.
