Niv Ast - Its Better Together (feat. Yotam Russo, Aviv Bens, and Mosard) - High School Records

High School Records is thrilled to introduce its very first release. Naturally, it comes from label boss Niv Ast, who teams up with friends Yotam Russo, Aviv Bens, and Mosard for a three-track EP packed with energy.

The label and its releases are inspired by the music that shaped Niv's taste back in high school, when he was a clueless kid and music was what kept him going.

Rock 'n' roll, punk, acid, and disco form the foundation of this release, while electronica and indie dance elements provide the groove and breathing space throughout each track.

"Spend My Time" is built around a groovy bass guitar line and sassy vocals, evolving from a funky jam into a brief acid rave before crashing back down into a distorted guitar solo, fat kicks, and rolling basslines.

"Jonah Banana" is inspired by the iconic interview in which Jonah Hill tells his legendary Morgan Freeman story. Heavy on the bass and built for peak-time moments, the track drives dancefloors forward before exploding in its final drop with a bold shout that leaves no
doubt—it's time to dance.

"Pump!" is a groovy acid-fueled cut loaded with funk influences. Blending infectious rhythms with driving energy, it gradually builds into a dancefloor weapon that catches the crowd off guard and pulls everyone into its irresistible groove.

Together, these three tracks form an EP made from the dancefloor, for the dancefloor. From the first note to the last, it's designed to keep bodies moving and spirits high.
