Klo – SAY SOMETHING [Gotta Move Records]
Klo releases her debut on Insomniac's recently launched Gotta Move Records with her new single "SAY SOMETHING," a hefty 140 bass track that continues her push as one to watch in dance music right now.
Originally from Texas, Klo is an LA-based producer who has built a cult-like following from her natural knack for serving up proper flips, edits, remixes, and original tracks across the bass spectrum, including 140, UK garage, bassline, deep dubstep, grime, bass house and beyond. She's making her debut on Insomniac's Gotta Move label with her new single.
"SAY SOMETHING" is a gritty, rhythmic dubstep cut that captures the pulse of the underground club sound she's been crushing as of late. The groove is atomic, gradually building from sharp breakbeat drums and otherworldly atmospherics before detonating with hefty seesawing sub-bass oscillations, intricate low-end pulses, whistling kettle tones, and a web of expertly placed vocal chops that exacerbates its trance-inducing quality. The single arrives in time for her upcoming set supporting Subtronics in DTLA.
