George Alhabel - Xfalls (Freedo Mosho Remix) - Sound Avenue
With 2024 coming to its grand closing, Freedo Mosho wraps up another illustrious cycle with his much-anticipated remix of George Alhabel's Xfalls, included as a part of Alhabel's full-fledged debut EP on Madloch's esteemed Sound Avenue imprint.
Drawing us in with some delectable percussive patterns, Freedo Mosho reimagines Xfalls under a different prism, biding its time with each passing beat before unveiling a stabbed bassline that ushers us inside swelling strings and dubbed-out synthetic bursts that linger across the piece like echoes of yesterday.
Shrouded in that classic FM old-school flair, this take on Xfalls stimulates our senses at every turn before its designer presents us with a time-stopping breakdown where rays of light cut directly through the mix, allowing it to rebuild itself piece by piece in a dazzling act of creation.
As it grows in tension by the second, the Argentine producer expertly harnesses the energy before it dissipates, supercharging the piece for one last unadulterated moment of rapture.
