Sasha - HNDI

Sasha drops 'HNDI', the debut single from his LUZoSCURA mixed compilation. It spans 21 exclusives and is compiled and mixed by the man himself .'HNDI' is a breakbeat inspired cut and a step away from his previous productions. Designed to flow like a DJ mix for home listening, the LUZoSCURA compilation traverses ambient, breaks, techno and electronica.

The rest of the compilation houses a mixture of artists budding and eminent like MJ Cole, lau.ra. Trypheme, Rival Consoles, Polymod, QRTR, DJ P to name a few, and is an evolution of Sasha’s LUZoSCURA Spotify playlist which he started a few years back for music sent that didn’t fit the pace of his DJ sets.

Through LUZoSCURA Sasha has connected with artists he wouldn’t normally when on the road or through his label LNOE and it’s been an invigorating experience for him in the studio.....

“For the first time in over 20 years I had no reference point for banging club music, so I gravitated towards the LUZoSCURA playlist. I threw more energy into curating it because the sound felt right for that time, and I quickly realised I wanted to make some of my own music with this theme. During the first lockdown my basement studio became quite an escape for me. I had many late night intense creative writing sessions, sometimes putting 10 ideas down in one night. HNDI came from a night like that”
