Some spells are spoken. Others live in frequencies, melodies, and rhythms, awakening something within us that words have never quite managed to explain.

For the past decade, Magician On Duty has explored that invisible territory, guided by a simple belief: sound holds possibilities beyond what can easily be said.

Founded in 2016 by Adrian, what began as a personal fascination with sound and imagination gradually developed into a universe with its own language. A record label where artistic freedom takes precedence over convention, where curiosity challenges expectations, and where each release contributes another dimension to an expanding creative vision.

Ten years later, a new chapter emerges.

The Spell Books.

Forty-five compositions. Six chapters. Six distinct worlds, each possessing its own atmosphere, visual identity, and musical character.

Not a retrospective, but an invitation to venture further into the unknown.

Six chapters unfold like passages from a forgotten manuscript. Some drift through delicate, dreamlike landscapes, while others descend into darker, more hypnotic territories. Rhythms become rituals, melodies appear and disappear, and familiar sounds take on unfamiliar shapes.

Each composition is a spell, cast by an artist bringing a distinct imagination to the collection.

The project brings together familiar faces who have helped shape Magician On Duty's identity over the years alongside new artists entering its universe for the first time. Across all six Spellbooks, their individual expressions become part of something larger, connected not by a single musical formula but by a shared willingness to explore.

The second chapter draws you deeper into the night, where instinct takes over and the rules begin to loosen. Seven spells are cast by Konstantin Kobra, Roderic, SAAND, Karpinsky, K2WO, Dnl Mike, and Purple Tape, each adding its own energy to a world of hypnotic movement and playful disobedience. The second page turns, follow the pull, but don't trust the shadows.
