Kolombo - I Hang Out With My Team EP

Otherwise Records presents “I Hang Out With My Team”, the new EP by label head Kolombo. The release brings together three tracks that explore different possibilities within Indie Dance, continuing the producer’s focus on dancefloor-oriented structures, continuous grooves and precise instrument selection. The work reinforces the sonic identity Kolombo is developing today, bringing his production closer to the label’s curatorial direction.

“I Hang Out With My Team” drives the EP with a constant sub-bass, while vocals repeatedly chant the track’s title and gradually develop throughout the composition, sustaining its movement. On “In This House”, Kolombo follows a similar vocal approach to the title track, building an even more direct arrangement around a functional dancefloor structure. “Open Ur Mind” closes the release with a more open dynamic, incorporating different textures and timbres that introduce variations and expand the perception of the arrangement without losing its rhythmic drive.

“I Hang Out With My Team” strengthens Kolombo’s presence within the Otherwise catalog with three tracks aligned with his contemporary approach to Indie Dance. The EP brings together different constructions within a shared language, maintaining a focus on progression and on how the tracks behave within the club environment.
