Sebee, Casis - What We Waited For

Renowned electronic music label Kindisch, proudly announces the release of the latest EP titled “What We Waited For” by the talented South African artists Sebee and Casis. The two-track EP encapsulates the duo’s innovative soundscapes and melancholic vibes, marking another significant addition to the label’s esteemed catalog.

Sebastian de Beer, known as Sebee, hails from the City of Gold, Johannesburg. Starting with electronic music production, he ventured into piano, musical theory, classical, and emotive sounds, transforming his initial curiosity into a fervent passion. Sebee’s musical journey saw him make his mark on the South African dance scene with releases on prominent labels like Diynamic Music, Get Physical Music, and Anjunadeep. Sebee previously released his “Borders EP” on Kindisch’s sister label METAPHYSICAL in 2023 and a notable release on Kindisch in 2022.

Casis, also from Johannesburg, partners with Sebee on this EP, bringing a unique blend of musicality and innovation. Together, they create a symbiotic harmony that is both captivating and deeply moving.

The EP opens with the track “Open,” a smooth and sweet Electronica piece that features a strong Moog Bass layered with percussive bell sounds, creating a mesmerizing auditory experience. The second track, “What We Waited For,” explores a melancholic piano theme intertwined with intricate percussive sounds, delivering a profound and emotive listening experience.
