Park & Sons - Seoul EP

In the life of up & coming techno artists you rarely experience shows where everything truly connects. This EP pays tribute to a memorable weekend playing Ultra Korea/Resistance 2019 in Seoul. The fans, the staff, fellow DJ/Producers paying their respects, it was one of those we'll never forget and therefor say grace how we know best; through our music. SEOUL is a main stage festival belter with powerful and addictive piano stabs, whilst BASTION takes us a deeper in the minds of Park & Sons for their signature subtile excellence.

Park & Sons belong to a new breed of Dutch Techno pioneers. Raised on the rich soil of dance music of the Netherlands, Vincent Leijen and Jorik van de Pol became instantly addicted to techno from a very early age. And by taking inspiration from their heroes like Carl Cox, Green Velvet and Robert Hood this energetic producers duo are mixing the old with the new and dipping grooves in their sets and tracks.

This explains why these hard working guys already are some sort of a familiar face in the local scene as despite their young age these two already have been hosting techno raves for a few years. So far they have played alongside international stars like Ben Sims, Tommy Four Seven, Pär Grindvik, Henning Baer, Truncate, Sandrien, Jeroen Search, Psyk and Hans Bouffmyhre and played legendary clubs and festivals like Planet Rose and Free Your Mind.

No wonder these two DJ/producers are tipped by many in the industry to keep an eye on. Especially after their track ‘Uncle Carl’ received support on BBC Radio 1, Beats1 and Sirius XM and gained massive support from the likes of Hot Since 82, Roger Sanchez and the main man himself Carl Cox, who even played this track full length at his own stage at Ultra in Miami and as opening track for his last ever Space Ibiza set. A string of successful singles followed: Epoch, Kosmos, the Pangea EP including the vocal version of Icarus with Nathan Nicholson, the fab collab with Roger Sanchez and Julie McKnight on Strictly Rhythm and their end-of-year booty taking on Aril Brikha's - Groove la Chord, all this resulted in them performing on the Ultra Resistance stages in Seoul and Shanghai, multiple ELROW shows, various outdoor festivals in 2018 and last but not least the Free Your Mind festival and events.

Kobra Records is the beginning of a new chapter by Park & Sons releasing and performing story-telling techno music, yet inviting others to share their stories with them. Bring on 2019!
